4. No Guarantee of Results

While we strive to provide helpful and accurate information during our courses and one-on-one

5. One-on-One Sessions

One-on-one tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or academic support sessions are provided for
educational assistance only.

Any suggestions, explanations, examples, study methods, or feedback shared during a private
session are offered in good faith for learning support, but they are not guaranteed to solve
a specific academic issue or produce a specific result.

their licensors, unless otherwise stated.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, create derivative works
from, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, license, or exploit any content from the
Services without prior express written permission.

Some materials made available through the Services may be used under public-domain rules,
open licenses, or Creative Commons licenses with specific conditions or restrictions. In
such cases, ownership remains with the original rights holder where applicable, and Learn
Social Studies does not claim ownership over third-party materials beyond the rights granted
by the relevant license or lawful use condition.

7. As-Is Basis

All services, content, materials, features, tools, community areas, and website
functionality are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Learn Social Studies disclaims all
warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including
implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title,
non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LearnSocialStudies.com, Learn Social
Studies LLC, Learn Social Studies S.A.S., and their owners, officers, employees,
contractors, tutors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for
any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising
out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the website, courses, sessions,
materials, or related services.

This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict
liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of
such damages.

Without limiting the foregoing, we are not liable for loss of data, lost profits, lost
opportunities, academic losses, reputational harm, business interruption, or losses
resulting from reliance on educational content or tutoring guidance.

9. Technical Issues and Platform Availability

We do not guarantee that the website, tutoring sessions, video calls, bookings, messages,
community features, files, downloads, payments, or course access will always be available,
uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free.

Learn Social Studies is not responsible for interruptions, delays, degraded quality, or
failed access caused by internet connectivity issues, local network instability, device
malfunction, operating system issues, browser issues, power outages, microphone or camera
failures, user misconfiguration, email delivery issues, or third-party platform outages.

This includes interruptions affecting private tutoring sessions or other live services where
a disruption originates from the user’s internet connection, device environment, local
software setup, telecommunications provider, or third-party service provider used to enable
the session.

10. User Security Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and
for all activity that occurs under their account, except where liability cannot be excluded
under applicable law.

You must not share your password, login link, verification code, recovery code, or account
access with any other person.

If stronger account protection methods are made available, including multi-factor
authentication, time-based one-time password (TOTP) authenticators, FIDO-compatible
security keys, recovery codes, or similar security controls, users are responsible for
enabling and maintaining those protections where appropriate.

Learn Social Studies shall not be responsible for losses, unauthorized access, account
misuse, or related harm resulting from a user’s failure to keep credentials secure, failure
to activate available security protections, reliance only on email-based access where
stronger protections were available, phishing, credential sharing, insecure devices, or
other security weaknesses on the user’s side.

Users must promptly notify us if they believe their account, email address, verification
method, or credentials may have been compromised.

11. Payments, Refund Timing, and Banking Delays

Payments made through the website are processed by third-party payment providers, including
Stripe, and may also involve banks, card networks, or financial institutions.

Where a refund is approved under the applicable refund terms, the time required for the
refund to appear in your bank account, card statement, or payment method may depend on the
payment processor, your bank, your card issuer, or other third parties involved in the
transaction.

Learn Social Studies is not responsible for delays caused by banking systems, card
networks, intermediary processors, settlement schedules, fraud review procedures, currency
processing, or other third-party financial processes outside our direct control.

12. Third-Party Services and Third-Party Content

The platform may rely on third-party tools, hosting providers, security providers, learning
platforms, analytics tools, communication services, community tools, and payment processors
to deliver the Services.

We are not responsible for any third-party content, including user-generated content, forum
posts, comments, reviews, messages, shared materials, or content made available through
third-party tools, plugins, service providers, or integrated platforms.

Any opinions, statements, recommendations, resources, or materials posted by users or third
parties are solely those of the relevant author or provider and do not necessarily reflect
the views of Learn Social Studies.

We are not responsible for downtime, failures, security incidents, data loss, delivery
issues, compatibility problems, or service limitations caused by third-party systems or
providers beyond our reasonable control.

13. User Interactions and Community Features

We are not responsible for interactions between users in community features, forums, chats,
messaging functions, groups, comments, or other social areas of the Services.

Users participate in such features at their own risk and are solely responsible for their
conduct, communications, decisions, and any personal information they choose to share.

Although we may use moderation tools, filters, access restrictions, reporting tools, or
community standards to help maintain a safer environment, we do not guarantee that all user
conduct, content, or communications will be appropriate, accurate, lawful, secure, or free
from harm.

This Disclaimer and your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its
conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
